Michael Lynch-Bell

Independent Non-Executive Chair

Michael is an experienced corporate finance executive and consultant. Michael was appointed on 13 November 2018. His early Ernst & Young career was focused on auditing clients within the oil and gas sectors and later added mining to his portfolio. Michael also led Ernst & Young’s UK IPO and Global Natural Resources transaction teams in the Transaction Advisory practice. He has been involved advising companies  on fundraising, re-organisations, transactions, corporate governance as well as IPOs.

Michael is a former Chair of the Bureau and current member of UNECE’s Expert Group on Resource Measurement, a non-executive Director of Barloworld Limited (JSE:BAW), Senior Independent Director & Remuneration Committee Chair of Gem Diamonds Limited (LSE:GEMD) and Chair & non-executive Director of Serabi Gold plc (AIM:SRB) .

Neale Fong

Independent Non-executive Director

Neale is a registered medical practitioner with over 35 years in senior leadership roles in private hospitals, the public health systems, management consulting, academia, health research, aged care and not for profit organisations. He is currently Chair of the Western Australian Government Country Health Service Board, Chief Executive of Bethesda Health Care, Chair of Intelicare Holdings Ltd (ASX:ICR), and a Director of a number of health-related companies. He is an experienced ASX company Director including as a former Non-Executive Director of Neurotech International Limited (ASX:NTI), Non-Executive Director of Sleep Studies Australia, and Executive Chair of Chrysalis Resources Limited (ASX:CYS), and has been a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors since 2002. He was formerly Director General of the Western Australian Department of Health and CEO of St John of God Hospital in Perth. Neale was awarded the Centenary Medal in 2011 for services to healthcare by the Australian Government

Beatriz Vicén Banzo

Independent Non-Executive Director

Beatriz has had an exceptional career in European pharmaceuticals with tenures across Ciba-Geigy, Novartis Pharma and most recently as Director of Public Affairs and Quality at Bayer Spain. Beatriz holds a Degree in Pharmacy as well as an MBA from the University of Barcelona. She also possesses a Master in European Regulatory Procedures from the Autonomous University of Barcelona as well as an additional MBA from the globally renowned ESADE Business School. She has been a lecturer for the Masters program at Madrid-based Professional School Talento Farmacéutico since 2015 and has contributed to various multinational efforts including being Co-chair of the 25th DIA Euromeeting (Drug Information Association) and serving as a Member of Executive Committee of Bayer Pharmaceuticals in Spain. Her vast experience of the European pharmaceutical landscape gives her unique insights into EU regulatory, quality and product development frameworks.

Fleta drives the strategic vision of the business and as Executive Director of Little Green Pharma has grown the company from a medicinal cannabis startup to an industry-leading medicinal cannabis brand in Australia.

Fleta has 17 years’ experience in corporate and consumer health markets. Over ten years, Fleta established, grew and sold one of Australia’s largest providers of workplace health services. She has since been involved in several start-ups including a water treatment technology business and a digital health engagement company based in Singapore. Fleta is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), holds a Bachelor of Science degree and an MBA from the University of Western Australia.

Angus Caithness

Executive Director

Angus is an experienced corporate finance executive and consultant in Australia and international markets. Angus has ASX experience as a Non-Executive Director of Lindian Resources Limited (ASX:LIN), CFO of Hunnu Coal (ASX:HUN) and Company Secretary for the IPO of Haranga Resources (ASX:HAR).

Following these roles, Angus acted as CFO of Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi, the owner of the world’s largest coking coal deposit. Angus was previously an Executive Director at EY in London and Australia specialising in initial public offerings of large cap mining companies. Angus is a Harvard Business School alumnus, a Chartered Accountant, a fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and holds a Masters of Science.

Paul Long

Paul Long

Chief Executive Officer

Paul Long is an accomplished leader with a proven track record in the health and pharmaceutical industries. As the former Chief Executive of Onsite Health Solutions, he led the company to become a market leader before its successful acquisition by Sanitarium in 2012. Since then, Paul worked as a consultant in enterprise health, health technology, and retail pharmaceutical sectors.

In 2018, Paul joined Little Green Pharma as Chief Operations Officer, where he played a pivotal role in building the company and achieving strong revenue growth, increasing from $2.2 million in 2020 to $19.9 million in 2023. He also led the company's expansion into international markets with LGP having delivered into or secured distribution partnerships in nine countries across the UK and Europe.

With extensive expertise in the global medicinal cannabis sector and capital markets, Paul is a forward-thinking leader who continues to drive success and innovation in the industry.

Alistair Warren

Alistair Warren

General Counsel & Company Secretary

In practice since 2003, Alistair was previously inhouse counsel to BHP advising its international commodity sales, projects, procurement, exploration, and strategic resourcing teams and prior to that as Senior Associate with Herbert Smith Freehills advising clients in the energy and resources sectors.

Alistair oversees all Company legal and regulatory matters, including sales, procurement, distribution, fundraising, intellectual property, pharmaceutical and narcotics regulatory matters, insurance, privacy, and dispute resolution as well as Company risk management, corporate governance, company secretarial responsibilities and ASX reporting.

Alistair holds Bachelors of Laws and Arts from the University of Western Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Economics from Murdoch University.

Dr Joe is a regular on TV and radio, writes for medical and mainstream publications, as well as maintaining a website and blog providing health information. Dr Joe held senior positions in the Australian Medical Association and sat on numerous industry and government boards. He has extensive corporate experience in the setting up and management of medical centres.

Gabriela Franz

Head of Commercial Operations Europe

Gabriela brings corporate finance and business development know how combined with experience in deal-making and policy analysis to the Little Green Pharma team. Previously a Business Development Manager at one of the key market players in the cultivation, import and wholesale of medicinal cannabis in Germany, Gabriela built a strong network of GMP certified suppliers and contributed substantially to successful product launches.

Gabriela started her career at Royal Dutch Shell in Germany, working as a financial advisor to the trading & supply business, and as an analyst reporting to the Head of Government Relations Germany. Gabriela holds an MBA from CUHK Business School in Hong Kong.

Celia has over fifteen years' experience in marketing management, two of these working in pharmaceutical, six in media and four years in primary healthcare. Before starting at Little Green Pharma she worked at Seven West Media focusing on digital marketing and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing).

Barb Fullerton

Barb Fullerton

National Education Manager

Barb has over eleven years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry in both marketing and sales management roles with two global leaders and across a number of different disease states. She has spent the last three years widening her breadth of knowledge and experience working in technology start-ups. Barb has a Bachelor of Science degree and also has an MBA (Marketing Major) from Curtin Graduate School of Business.

Leon Warne

Dr Leon Warne

Head of Research & Innovation

Leon is a researcher and academic with over 10 years’ experience in the field of pain medicine. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and a PhD in pain-management and assessment.

Leon leads a translational researcher group investigating a novel genetic treatment for people suffering chronic neuropathic pain. His passion for research and development focused on providing integrative medical solutions to improve patient quality of life led Leon to his current role as Head of Research and Innovation at Little Green Pharma. His clinical research interests are assessment and management of pain in patients incapable of self-reporting; and utilisation of novel drug delivery technologies to optimise bioavailability and dosing efficacy of medicinal cannabis therapeutics.

Melanie Pugliese

Head of Engagment

Melanie is Little Green Pharma’s Head of Engagement managing the medical science liaison (MSL) and customer care teams.

Melanie and her team enjoy supporting prescribers, pharmacists and patients through the medicinal cannabis journey and sharing knowledge.

Melanie brings over 15 years’ experience in healthcare communication to the Little Green Pharma team and holds a Bachelor of Communication (Journalism and Organisational Communication) from Zurich University, Switzerland. Melanie started her career at Weber Shandwick Healthcare in London, where she managed a variety of global accounts and teams in the pharmaceutical industry across a number of different disease states.

Before joining Little Green Pharma in 2018, Melanie managed the national communications team at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), building a strong network with general practitioners and clinic teams nationally.

Melanie is multilingual and enjoys a uniquely international perspective derived by living and working in Australia, United Kingdom and Switzerland.

Brian Westergaard

Head IT

Brian has over 28 years of IT management experience with 12 of those years specialising in IT systems and infrastructure within the cannabis industry. After graduating from the University of Southern Denmark in Odense, Brian became involved in IT and cybersecurity in the financial sector with consulting positions at Deloitte, Leo Olsen & Dalgaard and Computeam ApS. Brian came to the cannabis industry in 2018 with a tenure as the Manager of EU Systems and Infrastructure for Spectrum Therapeutics. He was brought on board as the Head of IT at Little Green Pharma in 2021 based at the LGP Denmark cultivation facility in Odense.
